Hotel Jerome, A RockResort
Aspen, Colorado

Fact Sheet

History:
During the height of Colorado's silver boom, Hotel Jerome was born of the vision of Jerome B. Wheeler in 1889 to emulate the great European hotels such as London's fabled Claridge's. Built in the heart of downtown Aspen, Colorado, Hotel Jerome was designed to be a paragon of hospitality for its day.

The Resort:
The lavish, AAA Four Diamond Award-winning Hotel Jerome features 92 richly appointed guest rooms and suites, several restaurants and the ever-popular J Bar. Hotel Jerome’s ornate Victorian mine-camp flavor has been painstakingly preserved and restored so that the smallest detail is an exquisite reflection of the whole. Upon entering the hotel, the broad sweep of the main lobby carries the eye to the great oak fireplace’s full relief-carving and silver-dust mirror mantel. Details such as more than 150 antique light fixtures of brass, cast iron, cut silver and etched cranberry glass, as well as bronze, ceramic and cut glass doorknobs can be seen throughout the hotel. Many of the Jerome’s wallpapers were custom-made to recreate the finest Victorian Eastlake-gothic patterns found in museums.+

Location:
Located in the heart of downtown Aspen, Hotel Jerome is just steps away from renowned art galleries, boutiques, restaurants and cafes, along with a variety of outdoor activities including skiing, biking, hiking, fly fishing and more.

Accommodations:
The Hotel Jerome offers 92 uncommonly spacious guest rooms and beautiful suites, individually decorated in a luxurious comfortable style with stunning mountain views. Special features include feather pillows, down comforters, 300-thread count linens and exceptionally roomy closets, complemented by equally expansive bathrooms, which boast: double marble vanity sinks; oversized marble bathtubs (many with Jacuzzi jets and all with separate showers) and terry cloth robes.

In-room guest amenities include: two double-line telephones with high-speed Internet access; iron/ironing board; humidifier; in-room electronic safe; fully stocked minibar; digital television and Lodgenet entertainment system. One-bedroom suites also feature living rooms, Jacuzzi tubs, CD stereos and cordless telephones.
