Beaver Creek, CO – April 3, 2007 – This spring, The Pines Lodge, A RockResort in Beaver Creek, Colorado, is introducing the “Hike by Day, Raft by Night” package - a perfect family getaway for those seeking an authentic Rocky Mountain adventure experience!  This package gives families the unique and unforgettable opportunity to explore and observe Colorado’s local wildlife, both in the daytime and evening.

The “Hike by Day, Raft by Night” package is available April 15 - September 30, 2007 and includes the following:

• Three nights accommodations for four
• A guided day hike on the picturesque Royal Elk trail
• A picnic lunch for the family
• A nighttime float trip on the Colorado River with special night vision glasses to observe local wildlife
• A family fun pack amenity upon arrival

Rates start at $899 for a three-night stay in a room with two double beds, representing a savings of 30 percent. Families can also opt for a second connecting room, which costs an additional $387.  This package is subject to availability and blackout dates apply.  Package is for a family of four. Taxes and gratuities are excluded.
