Press ReleasesFor Immediate Release Investor Relations: Media Relations: RockResorts Announces Addition of Renowned Hotel Jerome in AspenBROOMFIELD, Colo.—April 23, 2007— Elysian Worldwide, LLC and Lodging Capital Partners, LLC, both headquartered in Chicago, Ill., announced today they have selected RockResorts International, LLC, to manage the operations of the luxurious 92-room Hotel Jerome in Aspen, Colo. RockResorts, a luxury hotel company headquartered in Broomfield, Colorado, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Vail Resorts, Inc. (NYSE:MTN). In addition to management of the luxury hotel and its five dining venues and other amenities, RockResorts will assist Elysian and Lodging Capital with ensuring a smooth transition with their intended purchase of the historic hotel. “The addition of the celebrated Hotel Jerome to the RockResorts portfolio exemplifies our commitment to growing a luxury hotel brand and providing an outstanding guest experience in truly unique, spectacular settings,” said Rob Katz, chief executive officer of Vail Resorts. “The Hotel Jerome is synonymous with luxury in every aspect as one of the best places to stay in ski country.” Situated in the heart of one of the world’s most famous mountain resort towns, this quintessential Aspen hotel is renowned for its relaxed elegance and unmatched atmosphere, and for providing personalized guest services and well-appointed amenities. Built in 1889 as one of the world's most elegant hotels, it rivaled London's fabled Savoy in reputation for its modern appointments and stylish service. The Hotel Jerome features 92 spacious guest rooms; the modern amenities of luxury accommodations including twice daily maid service, turn-down service, 24-hour in room dining and concierge service; a fitness room with state-of-the-art equipment; an outdoor heated pool and two Jacuzzis; and 7,500 square feet of private function space for 10 to 600 people, including the only above-ground ballroom in Aspen. The hotel also offers a longstanding tradition of culinary excellence showcased in a variety of places to eat, drink and mingle. In winter, the elegant Century Room is one of Aspen’s most acclaimed fine dining experiences featuring distinctive American cuisine. During the summer, the Century Room goes al fresco to the Garden Terrace, where diners can indulge in seasonal menus. Named after the plot of land on which the hotel was built, Jacob’s Corner offers a casual spot for breakfast essentials, soups, salads and sandwiches.
