DESCRIPTION:  The indigenous 7,000-square-foot RockResorts Spa features eight treatment rooms (including one couples suite), several relaxation rooms, a state-of-the-art fitness gallery and a full-service salon.  Offering more than 40 spa treatments, the spa blends the traditional St. Lucian culture with innovative techniques drawn from the global spa community.  

SIGNATURE TREATMENTS: Each signature treatment invigorates and replenishes the skin with St. Lucian spices including hints of Vanilla, Bay Leaf, Ginger and Cinnamon.  Signature treatments include:

-Barre de I’isle Facial, which moisturizes and hydrates even the driest skin types, while rejuvenating complexions with a cooling, rich mask.

-La Soufriere and Lime Body Treatment incorporates Thai stretches, acupressure and Island Lomi-Lomi techniques to soothe and unwind aching muscles, while using St. Lucian volcanic mud to encourage detoxification.

- Caribbean Paradise Massage blends a kukui coconut moisturizing treatment with a revitalizing massage to tone and soften skin.

INDIGENOUS SPA ELEMENTS: The Landings' RockResorts Spa incorporates St. Lucia's natural elements, long-standing traditions and unique therapeutic techniques. Some examples include:

-St. Lucia coal pots with local herbs, spices and fragrant botanicals are placed throughout the spa.

-Aromatherapy treatments use signature island scents of vanilla, cacao, nutmeg and cinnamon.

-Spa guests are invited to "lime down," the phrase St. Lucians use to refer to a relaxing slumber.

-Treatments incorporate St. Lucian spices such as vanilla, bay leaf, ginger and cinnamon.

-Integrated massage techniques draw from the traditions of the Arawak Caribs (St. Lucia’s first known inhabitants) and the people of the six Windward and Leeward islands.

KIDS/TEENS OFFERINGS:  The Landings' RockResorts Spa offers a special menu of services for guests ages two to fourteen.  Younger guests can get a customized manicure or pedicure while sampling the hottest health and beauty trends, sip their choice of fruit smoothies while catching up on the latest teen magazines and listen to their own “Fave 5” on an MP3 player.

FITNESS OFFERINGS:  The spa offers a variety of top-of-the-line equipment for both weight training and cardiovascular conditioning. Additionally, seaside workouts, yoga classes and personal training is available, including:

-Power Walk on the Beach – More than just a stroll along the water, this class mixes land-based calisthenics with aqua aerobics, water resistance training and brisk walks with timed tempo fluctuations.

-Seaside Yoga – Embrace the spiritual serenity of St. Lucia’s Rodney Bay during this outdoor yoga class.

-High-Level Fitness – Discover St. Lucia’s stunning natural beauty while enjoying an invigorating workout.  Climb the island’s breathtaking twin Piton Mountains, then revitalize in a soothing sulphuric river, a steaming mineral bath and a refreshing waterfall.  Complement your experience with an organic lunch.

-Personal Training – Tone and strengthen specific areas of the body using a combination of resistance, isometric and free weights methods.  The trainer can create a workout program tailored to personal fitness needs and goals, which can then be incorporated into a daily training program at home.
