ROCKRESORTS WELCOMES ONE SKI HILL PLACE AT THE BRECKENRIDGE PEAKS TO ITS PORTFOLIO

BROOMFIELD, Colo.– Oct. 17, 2007 – Vail Resorts, Inc. (NYSE:MTN)
RockResorts announced today the addition of One Ski Hill Place to its legendary portfolio. One Ski Hill Place, A RockResort, will be ideally located at the base of Peak 8 at Breckenridge Ski Resort, the most popular ski resort in the United States. Scheduled to open winter 2009-2010, One Ski Hill Place will be comprised of approximately 250 to 300 units, with the first building of 90 units available for sale December 2007.

RockResorts is known for offering a unique combination of informal elegance, legendary service, award-winning cuisine and a variety of outdoor adventures in some of the world’s most beautiful locations, and One Ski Hill Place is a perfect complement to the RockResorts collection. 

Featuring high ceilings, natural wood and stone materials, stunning living rooms with fireplaces and large windows with breathtaking alpine views, One Ski Hill Place will be among the most deluxe accommodations in Breckenridge.

The first building of One Ski Hill Place will include 90 luxury, ski-in/ski-out units that will range from studios to four-bedrooms and from approximately 500 to 2,000 square feet.  Each unit will include wood floors in the kitchen, granite countertops, high-end stainless steel appliances, a five-piece master bath, stone fireplace, spacious deck and high-speed wireless Internet access. Proposed amenities include restaurants, café, great room, media room, fitness center with sports massage rooms, a steam room, a sauna, an aquatics center with two swimming pools, indoor hot tub, outdoor hot tub and outdoor fireplace as well as a 5,000-square-foot conference center and heated underground parking. Future phases will also include a RockResorts Spa. 

The construction of One Ski Hill Place will uphold RockResorts’ pledge to the environment and will be built sustainable using the Green Globes rating system. The building will use recycled materials, low energy windows, fiber cement siding, faucet and toilet sensors in the common areas, engineered hardwood flooring, native stone, Energy Star appliances and water-saving devices.   

As one of the newest centerpieces of Breckenridge, One Ski Hill Place will be a lively village offering a variety of lodging, dining and entertainment options, with proposed amenities that include a sunny slopeside skiers’ plaza, a skier restaurant, après-ski bar, owner’s ski lounge, ski school, child care facility and more than 6,000 square feet of retail space, including multiple dining locations. 

In addition, the seasonal BreckConnect gondola will link One Ski Hill Place to the charming town of Breckenridge, known for great dining and shopping options.
