JEANNETTE SCHULZE APPOINTED GENERAL MANAGEROF THE ARRABELLE AT VAIL SQUARE, A ROCKRESORT

Vail, CO – August, 3 2007 – Jeannette Schulze, a 18-year veteran of the hospitality industry, has been appointed general manager of The Arrabelle at Vail Square, A RockResort scheduled to open on January 5, 2008.  Schulze will oversee all operations of the 36-room hotel that is currently under construction and situated at the base of Vail Mountain.

“We know that Jeannette’s experience and success in the luxury hospitality industry will be extremely beneficial to The Arrabelle at Vail Square,” said Rob Katz, chief executive officer at Vail Resorts. “We are confident that her expertise will help create the unprecedented guest experiences that this property will offer.”

Schulze joins RockResorts from a 14-year career with the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, where she was resident manager at the Mandarin Oriental, Washington, D.C. since September 2005 and resident manager at The Mark in New York for the two years prior. Schulze also held positions at the Mandarin Oriental, Miami, and Mandarin Oriental, Hyde Park in London. She holds a degree from the Academy for Hotel Industry in Berlin, Germany and also studied at Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration.
