John MacMullen Apointed Director of Sales & Marketing of The Landings St. Lucia, A RockResort
Rodney Bay, St. Lucia – September 27, 2007 – In preparation for the opening of The Landings St. Lucia, A RockResort, scheduled for December 2007, John MacMullen has been appointed director of sales & marketing. MacMullen will direct and oversee all sales and marketing operations of the 231-suite beachfront resort.
An 11-year veteran of the hospitality industry, MacMullen was most recently director of sales at the Ocean Reef Club, an exclusive resort destination and club community in Key Largo, Florida. Prior to that position, he led both the leisure and conference sales teams at Cheeca Lodge & Spa, where he was responsible for repositioning the Florida resort as an independent property. MacMullen also held previous regional sales positions at The Ritz-Carlton and Amelia Island Plantation, both on Amelia Island in Florida, PGA National Resort & Spa and LaPlaya Beach & Golf Resort in Naples, Florida. He is a graduate of Flagler College in Florida.

The Landings will be the most luxurious resort on St. Lucia, spanning 19 acres and nearly 800 feet of the island’s most stunning beachfront. All accommodations will be waterfront, offering views of the beach, harbor, lagoon or channel. One-, two- and three-bedroom suites will range in size from 900 to 2,300 square feet. The Landings will be developed in four distinct phases. Phase One, open to guests in December 2007, will include 62 guest suites, entrance pavilion, RockResorts Spa™, salon, fitness center, pool, water sports concession, four-acre private yacht harbor and the Beach Club restaurant. Phases Two, Three and Four will incorporate additional suites, pools and restaurants and will be completed during 2008, 2009 and 2010, respectively.
