Ski, Dine, & Unwind at La Posada de Santa Fe Resort & Spa, A RockResort

Winter Package Offers Guests the Best of the Southwest with Sunshine Skiing, Fine Dining and a Pampering Spa Experience

Santa Fe, NM-September 7, 2006- It doesn’t have to be summertime to have fun in the sun. This winter, La Posada de Santa Fe Resort & Spa, a RockResort, invites skiers and spa enthusiasts to hit the slopes and enjoy the high desert climate and sunny skies of Santa Fe with the “Ski, Dine, & Unwind package.”

The “Ski, Dine, & Unwind” package is available November 25, 2006 through April 14, 2007 and offers a savings of 20% percent.  Package includes two nights accommodations, two half day lift tickets per person at Ski Santa Fe, one sixty minute massage at the Avanyu Spa per person, lunch for two at Fuego restaurant, resort fee, and parking. Rates start at $190 per person per night Sunday-Thursday and $205 per person per night for Friday and Saturday night stays. Package is based on double occupancy with a two-night minimum stay required. Blackout dates apply. Tax and gratuity not included.

Ski Santa Fe is situated 16 miles north of the city. Its 12,053-foot summit, part of the majestic Sangre de Cristo mountain range, boasts 1,725 vertical feet of skiing and 67 runs winding through some of the most stunning terrain in the country. The arid desert climate and high altitude of Santa Fe skiing provides skiers with ideal slope conditions and bright winter sunshine.

Set on six beautifully landscaped acres, the 157-room La Posada de Santa Fe Resort & Spa, a RockResort, is located in the heart of Santa Fe, New Mexico, just blocks from the historic Plaza and art galleries.  The pueblo-style village resort features a recently renovated Avanyu Spa, which offers indigenous treatments that include the Chocolate Chile Wrap and Adobe Mud Wrap, as well as an art program in which an original collection of artwork, photography and statues supplied by local galleries are on display throughout the property. At the AAA Four Diamond Award-winning Fuego, innovative foods are infused with flavors reminiscent of classical traditions, and every dish is carefully presented with exceptionally attentive service.
