The Lodge at Vail, A RockResort, Announces The Addition of a New Avanyu Spa

Luxury spa set to open in 2007 as part of “Vail’s Front Door” project

Vail, CO – August 31, 2006 – The Lodge at Vail, a RockResort, has long been one of the most prestigious addresses in Vail with superior accommodations, fine dining options and impeccable personal service. This fall, the Lodge announces plans to embark on a new chapter, appealing to travelers seeking a rejuvenating spa experience in a luxury Rocky Mountain setting. Construction on a new Avanyu Spa has begun and is scheduled to be completed in late 2007.

The 11,600-square-foot Avanyu Spa at The Lodge at Vail will be seamlessly integrated into the Lodge in newly built space. Décor will reflect an intimate and elegant Colorado feel with warm colors and textures, and stylish stone and wood textures. The spa will feature 11 treatment rooms including a luxurious couples’ room with a fireside soaking tub for two, a wet treatment room, two facial rooms, and seven massage rooms. It will also offer a separate women’s relaxation lounge as well as a fitness complex with top-of-the-line LifeFitness equipment and a movement studio for yoga, stretch and Pilates classes.
