RockResorts Honored with 16 Adrian Awards by The Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International (HSMAI)

David Dudar, Corporate Director of Marketing & Communications Recognized Among Top 25 Minds in Hospitality and Travel

Denver, CO – February 2, 2006 – Luxury hotel brand RockResorts was recognized with 16 Adrian Awards by The Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International (HSMAI), a prestigious honor bestowed to the best of the best in the hospitality industry for excellence in advertising, direct mail, collateral, public relations, and e-commerce marketing.

The 16th Annual Adrian Awards were announced at a black tie event held in New York City on January 30. The competition embraces every area of the travel industry including hotels, airlines, cruise lines, car rental companies, destinations and many more. This year’s contest attracted over 1,200 entries from 35 countries and destinations, with entries judged by teams of experts from all sectors of the industry.

RockResorts was recognized in various categories including six awards for public relations, six for traditional marketing and four awards for e-commerce.

“This is an extraordinary achievement for a boutique resort brand such as ours,” said David Dudar, corporate director of marketing & communications for RockResorts. “It is a true testament to the hard work of all our teams who are responsible for creating this recognition for RockResorts,” he added.

Additionally, in an honor that HSMAI grants to individuals for their work in hospitality marketing, David Dudar was named as one of the “Top 25 Most Extraordinary Sales & Marketing Minds in Hospitality and Travel” by the organization. This award acknowledges hospitality leaders whose sales and marketing initiatives impact, influence and move the industry forward. Among other winners were vice-presidents of marketing from The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, Fairmont, and Accor North America as well as industry leaders such as Starwood’s Barry Sternlicht and JetBlue’s David Neeleman who have been past winners.
